Water has become fully integrated into all aspects of modern societies all over the world. From humble beginnings as a component of sustaining life to generating power for entire cities, water is used more and more to advance our way of life.
Water is used to cut steel sheets in the automotive industry, perform delicate surgical procedures and even to mine minerals. Water is by far the most common refrigerant used throughout the entire world. There are more swamp coolers, cooling towers, heat exchangers, nuclear reactor-base power plants and steam boilers now than any other time in the history of mankind.
We cannot lose focus of the essential role water has for all citizens of our planet. We must conserve, protect and sustain our most precious resource - water!
